Today Eleanna & Rhiannon have the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Dmitrii Bychkov from the Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland – FIMM, University of Helsinki, talking about the use of Artificial Intelligence in Cancer research!

Dmitrii Bychkov studied computer science and bioinformatics at Aalto University, Finland. Then he joined Prof. Johan Lundin’s research group at the Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland – FIMM, University of Helsinki to work on his PhD, where he focused on image-based cancer diagnostics with machine learning and artificial intelligence. Dmitrii has recently defended his doctoral thesis and continues working on computer vision for medical applications.
