I am a PhD researcher in the Biomedicine Doctoral Programme at the University of Helsinki, in the Neurogenomics laboratory. My research focuses on investigating new molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying myelin plasticity in stress-induced anxiety. My goal is also to comprehend better the factors determining stress resilience and susceptibility. Some of my other passions are dancing, photography, art and travels. I joined the Youth Science Club in March 2024 as a Science Club Instructor and became one of the two Project Leaders since August 2024. This is because I believe it is important to make science more accessible and engaging for everyone. I find valuable fostering kids curiosity towards STEM through entertaining and engaging hands-on experiments, workshops and on-site visits. At every session, I am myself inspired by this young generation of bright minds. So, all together, let’s motivate the kids to explore the wonders of science!
