Celia Gomez Sanchez

I’m a first year PhD student working at Taneli Raivio’s lab at the University of Helsinki. Our focus is modelizing rare growth, puberty, and reproductive disorders using stem cells and neurons. I’m 25 years old. I’m from Spain and I did my Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology in Valencia (Spain). I moved to Finland in 2020 to do the Master’s Programme in Genetics and Molecular Biosciences (GMB) at the University of Helsinki. In the future, I would like to be a University professor. I have always been interested in Science Communication and I follow several communicators on social media, but I have never taken a step myself. So I’m very excited to join TSB and start the learning process.
