Ever heard of a rhinovirus causing the common cold?
What is SciCrisp?
SciCrisp is a bridge between researchers within the scientific community as well as between researchers and the broader public. We invite researchers to write a fun and approachable review on their recently published article or thesis to transfer the most exciting insights of their research to people. After all, no one knows your research and how to tell it in simple words better than you!

Can I participate?
Have you recently finished your thesis or published an article and want to share it with a broader audience? Then SciCrisp is for you!
Don’t worry if you don’t have any previous experience in this type of scientific writing, the SciCrisp team will support you during the process. Our team is always happy to provide feedback and help to brainstorm and develop your ideas.
Hurry up, the deadline for pitch submission for the April – May publication is February 28!

We are looking for:
Editors: a person who helps authors to develop his/her research story and gives feedback on writing and blog structure. If you have never edited text for a lay audience, we can train you. The most important thing is your attitude and willingness to learn!
Reviewers: a person with experience in the same-ish field as the blog topic who can notice if the approachable way of writing misrepresented some scientific terms or ideas. We will contact you on a per-need basis depending on the fields of the contributions received.
Graphic designer: a person who will create a blog cover, and visuals for posts on social networks and help authors with visuals in the blog if needed. All design-passionate people are welcome!
Communication manager: a person who is passionate about brainstorming the project development, new ways of advertisement and audience targeting and implementing ideas.
