about us

We are a written science communication platform that provides a safe space and support for early career researchers who want to learn how to communicate their science and research to a wider audience.

We know scicomm training opportunities can be scarce, so we offer a chance to undergo an editorial process and publish an article to those with no or little previous experienceYou can pitch a single article or become a regular contributor.

Do you want to pitch an article or become a regular contributor?

We welcome pitches and contributors from all fields, and you can write about any topic that tickles your interest and from any perspective as long as you take inspiration from the current theme in relation to research/science! We do most of the visuals in the house, but are happy to support collaborations between art & research, intersections between different fields, or any other interesting initiatives.

2024 theme: Trials, errors, and breakthroughs

This theme celebrates the inherent value of setbacks, the power of resilience, and the transformative potential of failure in the pursuit of knowledge. By submitting an article, you contribute to a collective narrative that highlights the beauty of the research and scientific journey—a non-linear journey that is not defined solely by successes but embraces failures as integral milestones along the way.
