Who would have thought that scientists can actually make a CT-Scan to see the “inner organs of the Earth”?
With seismic imaging scientists are looking inside the Earth trying to figure out what material is beneath our feet without digging a hole!
Our guest this week is Christina Tsarsitalidou, a first-year PhD student at the Institute of Seismology, University of Helsinki.
In her Phd Christina aims at performing the imaging between the lowermost crust and upper mantle of the Earth.
Your hosts this week are Eleanna Asvestari & Tomás Garnier Artiñano.
