Even though there is a lot hotter and more important science going on this summer, it is finally time to introduce ourselves! Moreover, we are on deep holiday mode at the moment. No time for internet browsing. Apologies!
In THIS No. 5, Thisis is going to reveal what the scientific content editor has been doing during her Ph.D. studies. After nearly 5 years of hard work, she will move on to the next stage of her scientific career as a post-doctoral researcher this autumn.
Do you know that there are a group of people whose job is to monitor and study ice on land, e.g. glaciers, ice caps and ice sheets? Do you want to know how they figure out the impact of climate change on glacial ice and the sea level contribution on the glacial ice? Let’s follow Thisis to explore how Yongmei uses numerical models to study the movements of glaciers and their fate in the future.
